The title of this post is led by a comment used wide and far surrounding the consumption of dairy.
Its boolshit.
Never mind the ever popular variant "milk was designed for baby calves"
No. Sorry. The earth is not 6000 years old and we were not designed.
Mammals evolved the process of lactation to feed their young. Humans have a brain large enough to be able to manipulate our environment to find food from many sources. One on these is collecting and processing the milk of a variety of mammals, like cows, sheep, goats, camels and so on.
We have also processed inedible plant products to provide digestible plant matter.
We also cook our food.
We drive cars. We sit in giant tubes that blast around the globe.
Not many other species do this.
We have dexterity in our hands that enable us to interact with our environment to do things.
Not many other species have the ability to do this, so for one to consume the milk of another species, they need the opportunity.
Opportunity like this tale of feral cats 'stealing' the milk of Elephant Seals. Opportunity and ability combine.
If humans use their ability other species also partake in the opportunity to consume milk.
Often people who make this comment are vegans. There are plenty of reasons to consume only vegetable matter, but making up stupid arguments are not one of them.
All plant matter, all seeds, all legumes are not 'designed' for us to consume them as food. They evolved with primary roles around energy production, energy storage, or reproduction of a plant. Ooo yummy, a fertilised egg of a soy plant. Lets grind it and make us some soy-sages.
Its also a stupid comment coming from omnivores... while they chew down on their chicken vindaloo. You know, like the locomotive tissue of the chicken. Or maybe the chickens were designed to be portable meat factories?
